Driving Directions to MountainTop

From East Main Street Franklin, NC
Take 441 South and make the first left (at Smoky Mountain Chevrolet) onto Cat Creek Road.  Follow Cat Creek Road for about two miles, where it makes a hard left over a small bridge. Continue on Cat Creek Road for approximately another 2 miles and turn right onto Onion Mountain Road.  Follow this beautiful forest roadway for 3 miles to the gated entrance to MountainTop (on your left).  Total estimated travel time: 15 minutes.

From Atlanta, GA
Take I-85 North out of Atlanta.  Take the I-985 North/Lanier Parkway exit (# 113 – exits on the LEFT) towards Gainesville, GA.  Merge onto GA-365 North, which becomes US-23 North. US-23 North becomes NC-28 North / US-441 BR North / Georgia Road. Stay on US 441 for approximately 44 miles into Franklin.  (Don’t miss beautiful Tallulah Falls just a minute’s drive off of US 441).  In Franklin, take the US 441 Bypass by making a right just past the Nantahala Bank.  Make the fourth right (Smoky Mountain Chevrolet) onto Cat Creek Road. Follow Cat Creek Road for about two miles, where it makes a hard left over a small bridge. Continue on Cat Creek Road for approximately another 2 miles and turn right onto Onion Mountain Road. Follow this beautiful forest road for 3 miles to the gated entrance to MountainTop (on your left).  Total estimated travel time: 2 hrs. 15 minutes.

From Asheville, NC
Take I-40 W to Exit 27 (US 23 / 74) towards Waynesville / Maggie Valley.  Merge onto US 23/441 via Exit 81 towards Franklin. In Franklin, go through the light at East Main Street and make the first left (Smoky Mountain Chevrolet) onto Cat Creek Road.  Follow Cat Creek Road for about two miles, where it makes a hard left over a small bridge.  Continue on Cat Creek Road for approximately another 2 miles and turn right onto Onion Mountain Road. From Chattanooga, TN
Start out going west on W. Martin Luther King Blvd / US-11 / TN-2 toward Broad Street.  Continue on W. Martin Luther King Blvd. and merge onto US-27 South.  Merge onto I-24 East by exiting on the LEFT toward Atlanta/Knoxville.  Merge onto I-75 North by taking Exit 185B on the LEFT toward Knoxville. Merge onto US-74 E / APD-40 via Exit 20 toward Cleveland / US-11 / Cherokee National Forest.  Take the US-64 East ramp toward Ocoee.  Merge onto US-74 E.  Turn right onto US-64 East.  Take the US-441 B / US-23 S / US-441 South ramp toward Franklin / Clayton.  In Franklin, go straight through the light at East Main Street and make the first Left (Smoky Mountain Chevrolet) onto Cat Creek Road. Start out going Northwest on Beattie Pl toward N Church St / US-29. Beattie Pl becomes SC-183 West.  Turn right onto Rutherford St / US-276 BR / US-25 BR. Continue to follow US-25 BR N. Merge onto US-25 N. Stay Straight to get onto US-25 Truck N. Merge onto I-26 W / US-74 W. Merge onto I-40 W / US-74 W via Exit 32B on the Left toward Canton / Knoxville. Merge onto US-74 W via Exit 27 toward Clyde / Waynesville / Murphy / Atlanta / Maggie Valley. Merge onto US-74 W / US-23 S. Merge onto US-23 S / US-441 S via Exit 81 toward Dillsboro / Franklin / Atlanta.
